Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to reservations for LOA’s Chiriquí Highlands Origin Experience and are intended to clearly outline what is included in your journey, along with the applicable booking, payment, rooming and travel terms.

  1. Your reservation is confirmed once full payment has been received and is subject to availability within your selected group and occupancy option.

  2. Cancellations received on or before September 24, 2026 are eligible for a 90% refund. The remaining 10% is retained to cover planning, coordination and booking-related work undertaken on behalf of your reservation.

  3. From September 25, 2026 onward, all payments are non-refundable due to commitments made with hotels, transportation providers, experience partners and other suppliers on behalf of the group.

Booking and payment


The published experiencience rate includes:

  1. Round-trip air travel between Panama City and David on the published group travel dates, in economy class tickets.

  2. Per traveler, airfare includes one checked bag up to 23 kg (50 lb), one carry-on bag up to 10 kg (22lb), and one personal item.

  3. Three nights of accommodations selected and arranged by LOA.

  4. Ground transportation associated with all scheduled group activities, experiences and transfers included within the itinerary.

  5. Meals included within the published itinerary.

  6. Pre-arranged beverage packages associated with included meals and experiences.

  7. All scheduled visits, activities and experiences included within the published itinerary, unless otherwise noted.

  8. Standard gratuities for the guides, drivers, hosts and service providers included in the scheduled experience.

Alternative travel dates or arrangements may be accommodated upon request when possible and are subject to availability and any applicable difference in cost.


The published experiencience rate does not include:

  1. Air travel originating outside the included Panama City–David itinerary.

  2. Travel on dates outside the published group travel dates.

  3. Additional or alternative accommodations not arranged by LOA.

  4. Transportation outside scheduled group activities or transportation independently arranged by theguest.

  5. Meals, beverages or dining experiences outside those included in the published itinerary.

  6. Additional beverages or purchases beyond the pre-arranged beverage packages.

  7. Airline upgrades, additional or excess baggage, oversized baggage, preferred seating or other optional airline services.

  8. Hotel incidentals and other personal expenses.

  9. Optional activities or services requested by the guest outside the published itinerary.

  10. Passport, visa, travel authorization or other travel-document expenses.

  11. Travel insurance, medical care or expenses resulting from illness, injury or other personal circumstances.

Additional gratuities are not expected or required. Guests who wish to recognize exceptional service from an individual provider are welcome to offer an additional gratuity at their own discretion.

LOA may assist in coordinating additional arrangements upon request. Any associated costs will be communicated separately prior to confirmation.


  1. Reservations are valid for the selected experience dates and group.

  2. Any requested changes, including alternative travel dates, additional nights or modified transportation arrangements, are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.

Reservation Changes


Itinerary & Travel Arrangements

  1. This experience has been thoughtfully designed around a curated group itinerary. Certain accommodations, transportation arrangements, venues, dining experiences or activities may occasionally need to be adjusted

    due to weather, availability, operational requirements or other circumstances.

  2. When changes are necessary, LOA will make every reasonable effort to arrange suitable alternatives while preserving the overall quality, character and intent of the experience.

  3. Included transportation operates according to the scheduled group itinerary. Guests who miss a scheduled flight, transfer or group departure due to circumstances specific to the traveler may be responsible for any additional arrangements and costs required to rejoin the group.

  4. Airline schedules, carriers and transportation arrangements may also be adjusted by the applicable provider. LOA will assist in coordinating alternatives whenever reasonably possible.

  5. In the unlikely event that LOA is required to cancel the experience entirely, guests will be informed promptly and any amounts recoverable from LOA and its travel partners will be returned to the guest.


  1. Guests are responsible for providing accurate traveler information and communicating any dietary restrictions, allergies, mobility considerations or other relevant requirements in advance so that LOA may make reasonable arrangements where possible.

  2. Guests are also responsible for ensuring they hold the passports, visas, travel authorizations and other documentation required for travel.

  3. Certain experiences may involve walking, uneven terrain, farms, natural environments or outdoor activities. Guests are responsible for determining whether they are comfortable participating and agree to follow reasonable safety guidance provided by LOA, local hosts, guides and experience partners.

  4. LOA recommends that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to provide additional protection against unexpected circumstances that may affect their journey.

Traveler Responsibilities


Independent Travel & Experience Partners

  1. LOA thoughtfully selects and coordinates independent airlines, hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, guides and other experience partners that provide components of the journey.

  2. While LOA will make reasonable efforts to assist guests should an issue arise, these services are operated by independent providers. LOA is therefore not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations or service disruptions caused by such providers that are outside LOA’s reasonable control.

  3. Nothing in these Booking Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections available to guests under applicable law.


Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  1. LOA cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations or changes resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, transportation disruptions, government actions or other unforeseen events.

  2. Should such circumstances arise, LOA will make reasonable efforts to assist guests, coordinate with the applicable travel partners and identify suitable alternatives whenever possible.


Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  1. Single occupancy reservations accommodate one guest in one room.

  2. Double occupancy reservations accommodate two guests booking together and sharing one room. LOA does not arrange roommate pairings between individual travelers.

  3. Each reservation is limited to the number of guests included in the selected occupancy option. Parties requiring additional rooms or a combination of single and double occupancy should contact LOA to coordinate their reservation
